Crime novelist Patricia Cornwell reportedly visited  East Tennessee on Wednesday -- making stops in both Oak Ridge and Knoxville.

The best-selling author visited the University of Tennessee's National Forensic Academy in Oak Ridge and the UT Anthropological Research Facility in Knoxville, commonly referred to as the "Body Farm," according to a comment and photograph apparently posted by the novelist on Facebook.

At least one other Oak Ridger confirmed seeing Cornwell arrive in The Secret City -- reportedly by helicopter -- earlier this week.
